Pearl white Tesla Model 3 Highland with tinted windows

Why tint your Tesla in Ladson?

A Tesla has a lot of glass. Film keeps the heat and glare out without touching the signal.

  • Looking up through the tinted glass roof of a Tesla Model 3

    A cooler glass roof

The big glass roof lets in a lot of heat. Ceramic film over it keeps the cabin cooler on sunny days.

  • A pearl white Tesla Model Y with tinted rear and side windows on a driveway

    Privacy in the back

Darker rear glass keeps the back seats and the trunk out of sight.

  • Brushed stainless steel Tesla Cybertruck with tinted windows

    Key and signal work

Ceramic film has no metal, so your phone key, GPS and LTE work as normal.

  • A white Tesla Model 3 with dark tinted side windows

    UV blocked

99.99% of UV is blocked for everyone inside, and the white seats keep their color.

How it works

How we tint your Tesla

We tint every Tesla: Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck. Most owners choose Ceramic IR for the side windows and the rear glass, and add the glass roof.

  • Side windows and rear glass in the shade you choose
  • The glass roof, in a light ceramic film that keeps the view
  • A sun strip on the windshield above the AS-1 line, if you want one
  • Your shades checked against South Carolina law

What decides the price

  1. Your model and year
  2. Which glass you want covered: sides, rear, roof
  3. Ceramic IR or Carbon IR
  4. Whether old film needs to come off first

Tell us your model and the glass you want covered and we will send you a price.

How to book

What happens when you book

  1. A pearl-white Polestar 2 with tinted windows and a white van on the driveway of a modern home

    Book your appointment

Call or send a quote request with your vehicle’s year, make and model and the windows you want tinted. We agree a day, a time and a place.

  2. A white work van parked on the driveway of a customer’s home

    We come to you

We come to you for mobile window tinting — at home or at work — with everything we need.

  3. Close-up: tinted side glass and its reflection

We clean the glass and fit the film

Each window is cleaned, the film is cut to fit and shaped to the glass. Most cars take between one and five hours.

  4. A silver Honda CR-V with freshly tinted windows on a home’s driveway

    We check it with you

We look over every window with you and explain how to look after the film.

Have ready: your vehicle’s year, make and model, the windows you want tinted, and where the car will be parked on the day.

Keep the windows up for 2 to 4 days. A little haze while the film dries is normal and clears on its own. Clean it with a soft cloth and a cleaner without ammonia.

Can you tint a Tesla glass roof?

No. Union Ceramic IR has no metal in it, so your phone key, GPS and LTE work as normal.

Which film do you recommend for a Tesla?

Most owners choose Ceramic IR. It blocks up to 87% of infrared heat, which makes the biggest difference under all that glass.

On cars, the front side windows, the back side windows and the rear glass must let in at least 27% of light. On SUVs, trucks and vans the front side windows must let in at least 27%, and the windows behind the driver can be any shade. The windshield can only have a strip above the AS-1 line, the small mark near its top.

How long does a Tesla take?

Most Teslas take between two and five hours, depending on the model and how much glass you cover. We do it at your home or work.
